Trial & Billing
How does the free trial work?
Our free trial gives you full access to all features for 7 days. A credit card is required to start your trial, but you will not be charged until the 8th day. If you cancel your subscription before the trial period ends, you will not be charged at all.
When will I be charged?
Your credit card will be charged on the 8th day after you start your trial, unless you cancel before then. After that, you will be billed monthly or annually depending on your chosen plan.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings under the Billing section. Once you cancel, you will have access to your plan until the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are provided for partial months.
Can I switch plans?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. When you upgrade, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. When you downgrade, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

What cities are currently supported?
PermitScope Pro currently tracks permits in six major growth cities: Austin (TX), Phoenix (AZ), Denver (CO), Dallas (TX), Atlanta (GA), and Nashville (TN). We are continuously expanding to new markets based on customer demand.
What types of permits can I track?
We track six permit verticals: Construction (residential and commercial), Solar installations, EV charging stations, Event permits, Vendor permits, and Film permits. You can filter by any combination of these types based on your business needs.
How does the AI lead scoring work?
Our AI analyzes each permit and assigns a score from 0-100 based on project value, permit type, recency, and other factors. Permits are categorized as HOT (80+ score), WARM (60-79), or COLD (below 60), helping you prioritize the most valuable opportunities first.
What is contact enrichment?
Contact enrichment automatically finds and adds phone numbers, email addresses, and decision-maker information for permit applicants and property owners. This saves you hours of manual research and lets you start outreach immediately.
How do I get AI insights for a permit?
Click on any permit to view its details, then click the "Generate AI Insights" button. Our AI will analyze the permit history, project value, and related permits to provide specific talking points, upsell opportunities, and recommended pitch strategies tailored to that property.
Can I save permits for later?
Yes! Click the bookmark icon on any permit card to save it to your "Saved Permits" list. This allows you to build a pipeline of leads you want to follow up on and easily access them from the Saved Permits page.
Alerts & Notifications
How do SMS and email alerts work?
You can set up custom alerts in your account settings to receive SMS text messages and/or email notifications when new high-value permits matching your criteria are added. Configure alerts by city, permit type, minimum project value, and lead score threshold.
How often are new permits added?
Our system automatically pulls new permits twice daily (every 12 hours) from each city's permit database. This ensures you get the freshest leads as soon as they become available, giving you a competitive advantage in reaching out first.
Can I customize which alerts I receive?
Absolutely! In the Alerts settings, you can create multiple alert rules with different criteria. For example, you might want SMS alerts for HOT leads over $100K in Austin, but only email alerts for WARM leads in Phoenix. You have complete control over your notification preferences.
Data & Integrations
How accurate is the permit data?
We pull data directly from official city permit databases in real-time, ensuring maximum accuracy. However, the quality of data depends on what each city provides. We continuously validate and enrich the data with additional information from third-party sources.
Can I export permit data?
Yes! You can export your filtered permit lists and saved permits to CSV format for use in your CRM or other tools. This feature is available on Professional and Business plans.
Do you offer API access or integrations?
